All equipment sold by KRD comes with warranty cover, but the type of warranty depends on the brand:

1. KRD-Branded Equipment

KRD-branded machines are covered by a 12-month parts-only warranty.

This covers the replacement of faulty parts only.
It does not include labour, call-outs, engineer travel or installation.

For KRD warranty claims, we require a qualified engineer’s report confirming the fault, including photos or videos, provided within 30 days of reporting the issue.

2. Third-Party Brands (Blue Seal, Zanolli, Whirlpool, Lincat, etc.)

Other branded products are covered under the manufacturer’s own warranty, which may include:

  • Parts & labour
  • On-site engineer attendance
  • Direct support from the manufacturer or service partner

Once we receive your form, we will direct your claim to the correct manufacturer support team.

What Warranty Does Not Cover (All Brands)

The following are not covered under any commercial catering equipment warranty:

  • Broken or cracked glass
  • Consumable parts (bulbs, fuses, seals, filters, batteries, oil, etc.)
  • Refrigerant gas refills
  • Damage from incorrect installation or poor ventilation
  • User error, misuse or physical damage
  • Blockages or contamination
  • Site issues (power supply, drainage, room temperature, positioning)
  • Lack of cleaning or maintenance as per the manual

These exclusions are standard across all manufacturers in the catering industry.

Before Submitting a Claim

Most reported issues are found to be related to installation or usage.
Please carry out basic checks first, including:

  • Ensuring correct power supply
  • Checking ventilation/spacing
  • Reviewing the user manual
  • Following any troubleshooting steps provided by our technician team
